This 12 x 14 versatile firepot was originally designed for use in masonry forges, but can also be used in steel forges. It is complete with ashgate assembly. When installing in steel forges, you can hang it by the side flanges with the addition of an angle iron "stopper" at the ends of the opening, or you can set the lower lips on the steel hearth, leaving the side flanges elevated. Optional openings in steel hearths are 8-1/2" x 10-1/2" or 1-1/2" x 14"+. 8 x 10" (inside dimensions) x 4" deep bowl. 12 x 14" (outside dimensions) x 12-1/2" on the slide model. The clinker breaker/rocker ball is triangular, allowing better blast direction & clinker rejection. The 3" diameter inlet pipe has an accessory flange to permit easier attachment of an airgate of blower. 45 lbs.
