Johnson Forge Furnaces and forges provide the high, fast heat needed in heavy equipment shops, welding and metal forming shops, metal fabricating plants, auto spring manufacturers, farm equipment shops, industrial maintenance shops, and school vocational shops. These forges are used for a variety of applications, including metal bending and forging, occasional heat treating, sharpening, preheating, and stress relief of weldments. Features include heavy gauge welded steel construction with a cast iron burner manifold and special steel tie-rod reinforcement. Fireboxes are heavily insulated and super duty hard-burned firebrick is used on all wearing surfaces. Gas and air adjustments are convenient to the operator. These forges come complete with a quiet but powerful Johnson blower, swinging adjustable refractory lid, adjustable front tool rack, solenoid safety valve and exclusive Johnson automatic spark ignition systems.
