Dimensions:

Material: Hand forged from new 1045 mild carbon steel by Brandon L. Dearing.
Finish: Hammer face is ground to a 120-grit finish and buffed for a semi-polished, semi-satin appearance.
Design: The eye is drifted from both ends to create an hourglass double taper for a tight fit on the handle.
Heat Treatment: Each hammer head is heat treated and tempered before being attached to the handle.
Handle: Carved from 2" thick hickory, shaped for comfort during extended use.
Grip: Handle designed for a comfortable grip suitable for different hand sizes.
Wedge: Head is secured with a mahogany wedge, providing visual contrast with the hickory and steel.
Finish: Several coats of linseed oil applied to the hammer and handle for protection.
Hot-Oiled Finish: Hammer heads receive a hot-oiled finish, resulting in a deep bronze color from the tempering process.
Craftsmanship: All aspects of hammer production are performed entirely by Brandon L. Dearing.
Durability: With proper care, the hammer is designed to last for years of use.
