Ideal for filling and waterproofing separation cavities under the horn, Keratex Hoof Putty provides durable protection and prevents grit and stones from entering the hoof between the horn and laminae.
This versatile putty can also be used to support tubes for flushing or draining cavities, and it is suitable for both shod and unshod hooves. Once applied, the putty hardens to form a strong seal that is resistant to wear and will not drop out or deteriorate over time.

How To Use:
- Ensure the hoof is clean and dry.
- Knead the putty in your hands until it becomes soft and tacky.
- Press the putty into the cavity, filling it completely and leveling it with the surrounding horn or sole.
- For areas under or close to shoes, use only cold shoeing or gluing techniques. Replace the putty at the next shoeing.
