The original V1 Mini Swage Block by Derek Melton is a compact, highly functional forging tool made from 6150 alloy steel. Weighing in at 10.5 lbs and measuring 5" x 5" x 2", this swage block was designed to handle a wide range of forging applications—from drifting and cupping to edging and upsetting. With carefully chosen features and practical swage profiles, it’s the kind of block you reach for again and again in your shop.

Swage Profiles & Key Features:
- Round drifting holes: from 3/8" to 1"
- 1" square hardy hole – ideal for upsetting tool shanks
- Three deep round swages for scooping/cupping:
- 2.3", 2", and 1.5" diameters – works well with 2.5" stock
- Triangular swage forms
- One side flat, one side gently curved – grind your own radius and use it as an edge block
