The Baso valve shuts off gas if the forge “flames out.” It goes between the feeder tube and the ball valve of your forge. Please be advised that any gas forge being sold to a school must have a Thermocouple Safety System installed. This is the price for the BASO Safety system factory installed. Please note that this is for NC Forges only, and the finished product will be shipped directly from the manufacturer.
